I have a beautiful wife, the love of my life who is second only to Jesus. We have 2 great boys who are the best things that God has ever given us. We live in and call Newport, WA home along with along with calling Vancouver and Kelowna B.C. home.

I grew up mostly around Vancouver B.C. I was a house painter and drug dealer before I accepted Christ into my life in 1984 when Jesus miraculously and wonderfully delivered me from a life of crime, drugs and alcohol when I was 24 years old. For more about my life before Christ, click here.

One year after accepting Christ into my life I went to LIFE Bible College in Burnaby, B.C. (now Pacific Life Bible College), after that I planted a church and pastored for 2 ½ years in Vanacouver, B.C. reaching mostly the non-churched. I also helped start a couple other ministries and have helped and served with World Vision, Young Life, an AIDS organization and a Korean church, etc. and finally worked with Youth With A Mission in Canada and Haiti up until June, 2013. After coming back from Haiti I have painted a church and a couple houses and now drive charter buses at Alpha Omega Tours and Charters to support my family.

During my time in ministry for the past 25 years I have been self-supported. I have been mostly working in ministry with very little support from a few real good friends and servants of Christ. Most of our ability to continue in full-time ministry was from working 8-12+ hrs per day in missions (6-7 days a week) and another 24-30 hours (average) per week painting and website design when in Canada or the US. Our average support over the last 12 years has been less than $500 per month with an average need of at least $2,000/month or more.

I have also seen many good Christian ministers and missionaries with hearts of gold give their lives to serving Christ only to fall in financial ruins while having good financial success and know how before getting into ministery only to end up destroyed.

Over the years I have seen much poverty, sickness and death in 3rd world countries as well as in Canada and the US. For the most part I have not been able to help much or stop what I have seen and have been very frustrated from that.

I have also seen many Christians including ministers and missionaries so busy that they do not spend enough time with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we want a strong and blameless church around the world this must change.

Our missionary career has taken our family across North, Central and South America, Japan and Haiti Encouraging and Equipping Christians to go into their neighbourhood communities, country and the nations of the world. We ministered through Exhortation and the Power of God; Puppetry; Gospel Illusions; Balloon Animals and Random Acts of Kindness.

I have recently founded Hopeline Christian Society and work full-time (40-60 hr/wk driving charter bus and 40-60 hr/wk with Hopeline) to help Christians with their spiritual life with Christ; to help financially support my minister and missionary friends and many the others that give everything to serve Christ around the world as well as to work towards giving jobs to my Haitian friends (over 200 non-Christian good friends) and as many others as we can living in poverty around the world. (I know that we in the first world have those living in poverty, however there is no comparison here to what it is like in 3rd world countries and they have NO social net to help).

I started Hopeline Christian Society because of what I have experienced and seen in ministry over the past 25 years. God has placed a desire in my heart to help those who are fighting the good fight of faith but are suffering financially and are persevering as long as they can as well as to help those in 3rd world countries who are suffering in ways that I could never imagine for my family or myself to live. I believe God has given me a way that if we the Body of Christ works together (everyone is needed) can glorify the name of Jesus Christ around the world.
